We are very proud to be selling the captivating works of Caroline Swift. Caroline studied industrial design (textiles) in Scotland and worked for almost twenty years designing knitwear for luxury markets, working in New York, England and in Italy as head of knitwear design for Benetton.

After a sabbatical in 2003 and upon return to England, Caroline started developing ideas and concepts for a food book she was writing. After struggling to find plates that could be used for the book, she made her own… It was this which started her involvement with ceramics.

Caroline’s approach to all areas of design is linked by one underlying philosophy, to create products that are pure and natural with beauty and integrity. Her studio is now based in Barcelona where she produces her latest work, including these pure, simple Christmas decorations, all hand made by Caroline.
